Talented Toddler Summer Camp

Ages: 15 Months – 2 Years Old

Our Talented Toddlers program is now being offered as a weekly camp option for the summer! This means families can sign up week by week based on interest and availability.

Throughout the week, toddlers will be introduced to colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through hands-on activities and play. Each day will include activity time, story time, movement, and creative experiences designed to support early learning and social development. This program gives children the opportunity to explore, build independence, and interact with peers in a safe and nurturing environment.

Camp will take place from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM and is open to both YMCA members and non-members. Weekly registration must be completed prior to the start of each camp week, as spots are limited.

Teacher Miss Clara Downey has a background in early childhood education and years of experience teaching and enriching young minds. Our Early Learning staff are trained in childcare, mandated reporting, CPR, and first aid.

Stomping and movement games, sensory digging bins, and dinosaur-themed art experiences.

🌈 Sensory Camp
Hands-on exploration with textures, water play, finger painting, and engaging sensory stations.

🎪 Carnival Camp
Simple activity stations including ball play, bubbles, music, movement, and playful exploration.

🎄 Christmas in July
Festive music, simple holiday crafts, sensory “snow,” and cheerful summer fun.

🦁 Zoo Camp
Animal movement activities, sound exploration, storytelling, and hands-on sensory play.

🎨 Color Splash Camp
A bright and playful week exploring colors through painting, sensory bins, music, movement, and hands-on art experiences.
