Youth Sewing Class – Summer Session
Youth Sewing Class (Ages 8–15)
Join us for our Summer Session of Youth Sewing Class! Participants will learn the fundamentals of sewing, including how to safely operate a sewing machine and properly use essential sewing tools. Throughout the session, students will create their own handmade projects. Possible projects may include a pillowcase, table runner, and headband or scrunchie.
Instruction provided by Mrs. Pam Riss.
Summer Session runs 6/22-6/26
Class Times:
Beginner Level: 9:00 – 11:00 AM
Intermediate Level: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Please note: Depending on enrollment numbers, beginner and intermediate classes may be combined. Parent/guardian will be notified in advance.
Please contact the Welcome Desk if your child is unable to attend a session.
Beginner Level
Participants will learn the workings of the sewing machine, techniques for sewing seams, zigzag stitching and some decorative stitches. Possible projects include headband, scrunchie, table runner, pillowcase, or tote bag.
