Summer Camps
Thank you for looking at the Streator Family YMCA for your child’s summer adventure! We take pride in offering a community summer experience like no other; your child will make friends, be healthy and active, learn new skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Whether your child comes for one week or the entire summer, we invite them to be a part of the YMCA’s safe, nurturing and inclusive summer camps.
Registration Opens April 1st!
What? Throughout the week, toddlers will be introduced to colors, shapes, numbers, and letters through hands-on activities and play. Each day will include activity time, story time, movement, and creative experiences designed to support early learning and social development. This program gives children the opportunity to explore, build independence, and interact with peers in a safe and nurturing environment.
When? Camp runs from 12:30-2:00 PM Mondays/Wednesdays and Tuesdays/Thursdays.
Weekly Themes: Beach Bash, Disney Camp, Dinosaur Camp, Sensory Camp, Carnival Camp, Christmas in July, Zoo Camp, and Color Splash Camp
What? Little Steps Summer Camp is designed for children to continue learning and exploring over summer break. Campers will have the opportunity to swim in our pool, complete crafts, conquer fine motor skills, and explore the great outdoors.
When? Camp runs from 9:00-12:00 PM Monday-Thursday.
Weekly Themes: Beach Bash, Disney Camp, Dinosaur Camp, Little Scientists Camp, Carnival Camp, Christmas in July, Zoo Camp, and Little Chefs Camp
What? At Adventure Day Camp, kids will make friends, have fun, get active, and discover what they can achieve while they explore with us all summer long! Campers will have opportunities to swim in our pool, go on adventure hikes and field trips, play games outdoors every day, and learn about the world around them throughout the entire camp experience.
When? Camp runs from 9:00-12:00 PM Monday-Thursday.
Weekly Themes: Beach Camp, STEAM Camp, Sports Mania, Camp YMCA, Circus Camp, Space Voyage, Animal Planet, and World Travelers
